Compuware Delivers on Gomez Acquisition

In a sign of more things to come, Compuware today announced a bundling of its application management software for on-premise and Web applications into a single offering.

According to Eric Schurr, senior vice president of marketing for the Compuware Gomez division, Gomez adVantage is the first in a series of new products that will result from Compuware’s recent acquisition of Gomez.

The core concept behind Gomez adVantage is to bundle the Compuware Vantage and Gomez platforms under a unified dashboard that will allow customers to manage their entire application portfolio end-to-end.

Prior to this integration, companies could not easily determine what might ultimately be affecting the performance a Web application user is experiencing when that Web application is dependent on the performance of other back-office applications.

Priced as a service that costs $10,000 per month, Gomez adVantage comes with Web performance monitoring and analysis tools for end user monitoring coupled with Compuware services.
