Core Security Automates Security Testing

As the number of security issues that IT organizations have to be on guard against continue to multiply, IT organizations are in need of some additional help.

Core Security Technologies wants to address that issue with the release of Core Insight Enterprise, a tool that automates the process of identifying potential attack vectors in the enterprise.

According to Core Security CEO Mark Hatton, a typical customer would identify their most important assets. Core Insight express would then automatically identify all the ways to access those assets and the potential security vulnerabilities associated with each one.

Hatton says that one of the biggest issues in the enterprise when it comes to security is the simple fact that there are not enough trained security experts on staff to keep pace with all the potential threats. Core Insight Express is destined to help mitigate that issue by helping IT organizations to more easily identify their most pressing security issues in a format that makes it simpler to digest that information.

In addition, Hatton notes that Core Insight Enterprise also gives customers a methodology through which they can cost effectively identify the state of their overall security posture.
