Core Security Couples Security to Business Risks
The concept of security testing is hardly new. Core Security Technologies not only wants to make security testing continuous, but also use those tests to identify levels of risk to the business.
Core Security Technologies this week is launching Core Insight Enterprise, a security assessment tool that was built from the ground up to include business risk analysis capabilities.
According to Core Security Technologies CEO Mark Hatton, Core Insight Enterprise allows customers to define specific levels of risk to the business. The tool then identifies all the potential security threats to those specific business assets and monitors those assets continuously.
As security becomes a more integral component of the business, Hatton says IT organizations need not only tools that security professionals can work with, but can also be used to present critical security information in a way the average business executive can understand.
As it is scheduled to be available late this year, Core Security Technologies is currently recruiting customers to help beta test the software.
