F5 Networks Partners with Secure Passage

Secure Passage combines firewall and network management into a common platform. IT organizations are looking to combine security and network management to both reduce costs and threat exposures caused by system configuration errors. According to Secure Passage president CTO Jody Brazil, the ability to manage security within the context of network infrastructure is increasingly becoming a differentiator within network management platforms.

The combination of the two platforms will provide customers of F5 Networks with real-time change configurations tools, reports that analyze configurations, and the ability to remote monitor a variety of devices from F5 Networks.

Separately, Secure Passage also recently announced that the company has created FireMon Nexus, an online community dedicated to helping Secure Passage customers collectively solve performance, compliance and security issues.
