According to Jitterbit CTO Ilan Sahayek, some customers want the Amazon option because they are hosting all their cloud computing applications on that platform. As a result, it doesn’t make sense to reach out to a separate platform when all the applications that need to be integrated are already running on the Amazon platform.

Sahayek didn’t rule out creating similar arrangements with other cloud computing platforms, but for the moment the Amazon platform is only one generating enough customer demand to justify deploying Jitterbit software.
Jitterbit is available on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) now, with pricing starting at $700 per month.
