JNBridge Unifies Java and Microsoft .Net in the Cloud

JNBridge today at the JavaOne 2010 conference is demonstrating a version of its JNBridge Pro integration platform for Java and Microsoft .Net applications running in the cloud.

According to JNBridge CTO Wayne Citrin, Project Lightning gives IT organizations that need to integrate Java and Microsoft .Net applications running in the cloud a high-performance alternative to existing Web services protocols.

That alternative, said Citrin, is needed because existing Web services protocols are too slow for IT organizations trying to meet demanding service level agreements frequently associated with cloud computing.

Citrin added that the company’s platform is designed to make it easier to integrate Java and Microsoft .Net applications by giving developers access to tools that allow them to manage that integration at a higher level of abstraction.
