The company has rolled out version 5.1 of its namesake log management and security information event management (SIEM) platform, which adds support for new visualization tools, the ability to track events to specific geographic locations, and the ability to monitor processes and connections on end points.

While there has been some debate about the degree to which convergence of systems and security management is taking place, there’s no doubt that the information held in systems logs is critical to security.

Pricing for LogRhythm, which is delivered via an appliance, starts at $25,000.
