As large numbers of companies continue to turn to Google applications and related technologies, managing those applications is becoming a higher priority for IT organizations.
Ltech is moving to address those issues with the release of a single sign-on (SSO) tool for Google Apps that integrates Google’s service with Microsoft Active Directory and other LDAP directories.
In addition, Ltech rolled out a new Power Panel application that makes available a contact journal, Quick Links, tools that allow users to manage application rights and provisioning, and a framework for integrating Google Apps with other enterprise data sources.
Ltech specializes in leveraging Google App Engine middleware to integrate Google applications with enterprise applications running on other cloud computing services such as Amazon, or on-premise applications running the data center.
As Google applications become an increasingly popular alternative to Microsoft Office applications, IT organizations are now finding themselves faced with the same integration challenges associated with integrating any suite of productivity applications with back-office applications running locally or in the cloud.
