MindJet is out to solve that problem starting with Microsoft SharePoint sites. The provider of the MindManger collaboration application, which makes it easier to visualize the relationship between sets of data and various processes, is today releasing a version that integrates MindManager with SharePoint.
Like most enterprise applications, SharePoint has become a primary repository for files and data. MindJet is providing a visual overlay that is intended to make it easier to keep track of the relationships between various documents.

According to Michael Deutch, director of product development for MindJet, the bi-directional integration with SharePoint is the first in a series of enterprise applications that MindJet will integrate with. In fact, he said next on the list of applications to support is Salesforce.com.
MindManger for SharePoint provides interactive site maps, visualization of SharePoint lists, a dashboard map for managing tasks, a SharePoint content search engine, and integration with Microsoft Outlook and Office.
Given the fact that most end users spend more time looking for data than actually using it, the next biggest requirement that many IT organizations have for their enterprise software is not necessarily new features, but rather increasing productivity by enhancing the usability of existing software.
Pricing MindManger for SharePoint is $499.
