Built on top of the Force.com cloud computing platform, Mindjet Deal Navigator provides a new visual interface that makes it easier to annotate information in the Salesforce.com application. This ability means that for the first time users can add context around information stored in Salesforce.com applications.
According to Neil Mendelson, Mindjet vice president of products, Mindjet Deal Navigator makes it easy to see “who’s who in the zoo” when looking at data in Salesforce.com. That information can be critical because it allows managers to visually identify key relationships in an account while providing a repository that includes both context and transaction records about customer accounts.

That information, he said, is usually more important than the records themselves in helping to service the account, while also providing the context that an organization needs to have to create an institutional memory of that customer that can be shared across the organization.
Support for Salesforce.com follows a similar effort to integrate Mindjet software with Microsoft SharePoint applications. But in this instance, the Mindjet software is also being made available as a service via the cloud computing platform managed by Salesforce.com.
Pricing for Mindjet Deal Navigator, which can be found on the Salesforce AppExchange site for software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, is $300 per user per year.
