StrataScale Simplifies Cloud Server Management

StrataScale today expanded its cloud computing services to include a hybrid offering that automates much of the provisioning process.

A unit of hosting provider RagingWire Enterprise Solutions, StrataScale provides a range of cloud computing services that the company is now augmenting its offerings with an ability to manage both virtual and physical servers under a common provisioning system.

In addition, StrataScale is rolling out a new “storefront” that allows customers to dynamically manage those systems.

According to Dave Geada, Stratascale vice president of marketing, this approach makes it simpler for customers to manage virtual and physical server deployments side by side in a world where different application workloads have different processing requirements.

Stratascale is the latest example of a hosting company extending  its core competency in providing managed services to now include cloud computing services.

The new integrated Stratascale services will officially be available on April 1.
