Taking on that challenge is a new service from Syncplicity that not only backs up all the files on your mobile devices, but automatically synchronizes them with files on your desktop.
Syncplicity, which has been offering similar service to consumers, is now rolling out a business edition of the service. The idea behind the service is that rather than having IT organizations dedicate infrastructure and personnel to manage file synchronization, Syncplicity provides a central file management service.
According to company officials, they expect IT organizations to view the Syncplicity service as a bridge they can use to bring a cloud computing service that enhances the mobile computing experience of their end users, while simplifying the daily management headaches of the IT organization.

As part of the service, Syncplicity also plans to make available an application programming interface (API) that will make it easier for developers to directly integrate other cloud computing services and mobile computing applications with the Syncplicity service.
Pricing for the service starts at $45 per month for three users.
